My view ?

Well number 5 is a bit like a glorified Toyland.

Number 6 is a bit too arty for my taste.

Number 3 is just a modern take on slum housing.

I like number 4, very grandiose.

I can’t decided between numbers 1 and 2, both have their strong points, the former being the “representation” of the surrounding countryside, and the latter being its use of the old stable block building.

I think I’ll go for number 2.

Bear in mind this is my subjective opinion, and I doubt the RIBA would agree.

What about you ?

It's a bit 'flat' this year isn't it? The distillery is quite good but it's been done before.
Number two is, I think, the best. I so wanted to say number one but I can't get my brain around the design - not sure if it is built into a mountain or a building with a grass roof.

None of them looked really awful and the railway one was quite impressive.
No 4 London Bridge looks worthy of a prize to me. No 1 looks like something from Thunderbirds
All worthy of the shortlist and so different.

I'm split between The Macallan Distillery and Cork House.
Not particularly taken by 2 or 6, hard to choose a favourite from the others.
Cork House for me.
The Opera House is a triumph and would be my pick.

Too many of the contenders are vanity projects for the Architects...
Cork House for me, followed by the Opera House.

Thanks for those views folks - it will be interesting to see who wins the prize.

The winner of the Stirling Prize will be announced at the Roundhouse, London, on Tuesday 8 October 2019.
I've only seen London Bridge in person, but they've done a superb job turning a jam-packed rabbit warren (which hadn't been sorted out since the mid-1800s) into a coherent, spacious, light-filled concourse. Huge challenge, well met.

London termini have been very well updated over the last 20 years. St Pancras is probably the gem, though London Bridge was a much bigger job. They're even going to try to make Euston look less grim.
Good.
London Bridge looks spectacular and is the clear winner for me.
