Unless Boris goes for one now, to shore up his wafer-thin majority in the House.

That was what Mrs May tried, and if backfired spectacularly, leading to the mess we are now in, so Boris may think twice before risking things again.

Although with a potential majority of just one, and more defections possible, he may think he has nothing to lose.

I doubt if the current government can last until 2022 with a majority of 3 as it stands and likely to diminish in the coming months

The thought of a no deal brexit, of which there is a great risk now, could be financially damaging to the country. And there are already fears of recession in the far east and Germany.

It may also be financially beneficial and rewarding !

We won't know till it happens.
What we do know is, WE NEED CHANGE.

This Country is going down hill faster than Eddie the Eagle.
It's time for us to decide our own laws.
It's time to stop throwing money into the EU and foreign aid.
It's time to help our own and rebuild.

yeah but no but - that is how long a govt can last and survive a no confidence motion
after the fixed parliament terms act they then have to vote for a dissolution by 67% I think

Two-thirds of all MPs need to vote for an early election so that is 434 MPs by my calculation.
