This Med Weather Is Fantastic

I am just thankful that I do not have to use a hair dryer when I've washed my hair.
I have had three showers today with complete change of clothing after each one. I hate this heat. I could really do with another shower to be honest. My water bill will be horrendous, next time.

Barmaid saw on news this evening that some rails look like bananas due to the heat and country wide speed restrictions, with reduced departures and I guess overcrowded trains. My sympathies

I think I am with woofgang on this one.

I dare say the heat is nice for those who enjoy it. We should not forget people who have to work in it, those who have health problems and others who may be vulnerable. For all of them the heat can be unbearable so I think it is unjustified to tell them "you gotta suck it up buttercup" - whatever that may mean.

By the way, it should be "remember the summer of '18" as there were many more hot days last year.

Not for us choux, the south had it very hot but we didn't here,anyway it's just ground to a halt now, had a thunderstorm , heavy rain and now the air is much cooler

I like the cold and love the snow and absolutely hate this hot weather. With the cold you can dress for it but with the heat like it was yesterday lying around naked was still too hot.

I saw the BBC's June Kelly reporting outside Newcastle Crown Court on the evening bulletin and noticed the heaven sent rain. Oh well, all good things come to an end.

The weather is going haywire at the moment. Hot,humid, heavy thunderstorms .Now snow , hail and landslides have halted the Tour de France. What is going on?
I will look back and say --'remember the summers of the 40s/50s/60s.'
