So all the queries on these Pictures can be solved by anagramming the shaded square letters?

Why do we get so many 'Who's in Picture X?' - do they not understand how to achieve it, or too lazy to work with the letters?

canasta has set this out well (apart from the superfluous letter) but I agree that we get a fair number of what sound to me terse "who is Picture E" posts - maybe some think asking AB is an automates system like asking Siri
