My Kenwood hand held food mixer has broken, it was a wedding present in 1975. Could this be a record?? What have you had for a long time and is still working. Nothing rude thank you.
I still use my mother's wooden rolling pin (for pastry only, of course) which her grandmother gave her for her "bottom drawer". All the washing up water it has been in! The grain of the wood is lovely now and I treasure it.
I bought a all metal bodied wolf electric drill in 1980. It came with accessories i.e. a Pillar stand and a bench stand. They all cost a fiver in a boot sale in Morden Craft Fair..I would guess the kit was at least 20 years old when I purchased it. Still going strong but I only use it for lightweight engineering and DIY.
From my parents's 1955 wedding, not the kenwood mixer itself, but the original glass bowl that it was used with. Still going strong and used for hand mixing all sorts:-)
