Covering Moles
12 Answers
I have a big mole on my face, its not always been there just come up in the past year or so.
I've let the Dr take a look as i was worried, she says she doesnt think its anything sinister so to just leave it alone.
But it looks horrible and I'm really conscious of it.
I asked if i could have it removed but she said on the face, the scar would be worse than the mole.
Any ideas appreciated.

Darcey. My doctor told me the growing mole on my face was nothing to worry about.....let it be.
When it had doubled in size I insisted on an expert opinion. The expert said it should be removed. Arrived for the removal and expert changed his mind. I was being vain and removal would leave me with a large scar and looking like Elvis.
My instinct said some sort of cancer so I refused to leave until he at least biopsy it. Part way through the biopsy he changed his mind again. It was a BCC. Go with your instinct but find a good plastic surgeon. It can be done so it’s hardly visible at all....by a good surgeon....not the clown who did mine. :-(
