People were not so worried about their pharmacuticals when there was strict rationing. Supplies from friendly countries came through. Canada has a very large pharmacutical industry for one.Most of my tablets are manufactured in the UK. Quite frankly I couldn't care if I never took half the tablets I am prescribed. Most seem injurious or unnecessary.My recent stay in a cardio unit two weeks ago saw 3 of my medicatons dispensed with. Do people really think we haven't got the werewithal to manafacture our own?

Having the wherewithal is one thing, obtaining the necessary licences is another.

Big Pharma have a lot of that stitched up, have done for years.

Then who issues pharmacutical licences and where do the UK apply bearing in mind we hopefully will have Brexited and cut out the red tape that went with the EU?
