I have a btinternet.com email address and for some unknown reason emails that I receive from Amazon go straight into the trash folder rather than the inbox, this has only started to happen in the last few weeks. I have certainly never tried to block Amazon, can anyone please advise a solution to this problem. Thank you in advance.

Quite often simply clicking on a button marked 'not spam', 'not junk' or similar is all that's required to move a misdirected email from your spam folder into your inbox. BT's server should then remember your preference for future mail from the same source. You can also try the 'safe senders' feature:...

Have you tried moving them from trash to inbox? That should be enough to prevent them going straight into trash.

Thanks pixie374, I had an online chat session with BT a few days ago, after much ado they told me the issue was now sorted and that moving one of the emails into the inbox would have corrected the problem. It didn't! same problem occurred again today. I have moved this latest email to the inbox and I'm now hoping for the best, hope rather than expectation!!!

Thanks Buenchico, working on it.
Ok, I hope it works out x

Eventually found a way into 'Safe Senders' options. Bloody strange, had to click through tools, options and Junk E-mail (can you believe it) to get there. Amazon now added to Safe Senders, I now await in expectation rather than hope. Thanks for the help, I'm now tossing a coin to see who gets the 'best answer' award
I have the same thing recently started to happen with eBay purchases. Hopefully I can follow the same advice, so thanks in advance Buenchico.
