I have 2 questions -

1) How do I transfer all data from my old iPhone to the new one ?

2) My brother gave me his iPhone nut when I plug it into iTunes on my PC I get an message saying "Itunes could not connect to "...(brothers name iPhone)" as its is locked with a password. you must enter your password on the iPhone before it can be used with Itunes.

How would i do this ?

Your brothers iphone needs to be reset to factory settings. Then you set it to your settings and then transfer y our data from our iTunes.

How do set it to my settings after I factory restore ?

When you turn it on the device will ask you questions and you tell it the answers for your settings and away you go. To reset you need to go to settings & then reset all.
