How Do I Explain My Husband

We live in a joint family including me-my husband, his parents and brother-in-law and his wife. We have a small house where we have three bedrooms for each couple, an extra room which is used as store room and a kitchen. There is no hall and my room is on the where there is kitchen. I am getting extremely frustrated day by day as everyone comes to my room to have lunch and dinner and moreover they also sit till late in night to watch TV. They do have TV but no dish connection and the TV in my room is android which works with internet. I do not have any privacy; moreover I am pregnant and can’t rest. They do not have etiquettes and even my husband doesn’t understand such things. Please tell me how do I resolve this issue

I can't help wondering why you allowed yourself to become pregnant in such circumstances. What kind of life is the poor child going to have as you try to care for her/him in the present set-up. I feel so sad for you, and for the child.

My friend (Indian) lives with her husbands parents, her BIL and SIL, uncle and aunt, a cousin and the kids. The norm for them but they have the space and money.

Wi-fi/internet extenders are available, enabling connection throughout the property. Your parents and brother-in-law could each purchase a Wi-fi connected TV and watch whatever they want in the privacy of their own room.

But they also come into the OP’s room to eat meals. There is more for her to worry about than the tv.

Once they switch their TV to the channel showing ‘Love Island’, MIL and BIL will strangely want to eat in their own rooms.
