Ikea Double Duvet Cover

It says it measures 200cm x 200cm. The double duvet (UK) that I have ordered is sized at 200cm x 200 cm as well. Do you reckon it'll fit? Will the cover measurements be the inside, as in actual space, or will it include any seams?

It is very common for older people who share a double bed to have single duvets... it makes more sense to me for adults to just have their own bedrooms.

We visited a relation in Denmark 40 years ago and slept in a double-bed with two single duvets. Eye-opening, so it was - now, if one of us is cold, we can wrap the duvet round us, while the cooler partner can just push theirs back.

Very civilised.
