My condolences to your friend, at least it was peaceful and pain free xx
My condolences for your loss, Anne.
I am sorry for your loss, Anne - I am glad it was peaceful

My going will be as planned - at home, I have even told them where to buy heroin in the city centre....
Sorry, Anne xx It would be nice if everyone is afforded the same. It makes a lot of difference to relatives afterwards, even though it no longer affects the person themselves.
I'm sorry to hear this, Anne. Friends are the family we choose for ourselves.

Remember the happy times x
My condolences.
Indeed it is a decent way to exit. One can take comfort in a friend exiting at peace.

Many thanks to you all .
I am sorry for your loss anne but a good way to go.
I am sorry to hear this Anne, at least it was a peaceful end.
I am very sorry for your loss of a dear friend, annea, but so happy for her, and all of you, that it was peaceful and pain-free. It is what we all hope for as an ending. I have known far, far worse (including a friend dying 48 hrs after terminal lung-cancer was diagnosed - they thought the horrible pain was due to a broken rib). I also hope that you and all of us are afforded the same sort of death. xx
Some of us (and I suspect you might be included in this, anne) are only scared or worried by the affect our deaths will have on our loved ones. Knowing that my dearest partner of 50 years would cope with my death isn’t much comfort; she would be utterly distraught, and lonely.

All I can hope is that I will outlive her, so that I can carry the distress and loneliness for her.

For her, I wish a peaceful, gentle death, like yo
like your good friend.

As for me,
other than the timing, I don’t care.

With love,

BillB
Bill - Thank you for this - I am a fair bit younger than Mr. J2 (already widowed once) and I would not put him through the pain again - scared though I am of coping without him.
Sorry to hear this Anne xx
