Stolen Caravans

Not sure if this is the correct category but having just heard of yet another acquaintance from the dog showing world having had their nearly new caravan stolen I wonder what happens to them - also motorhomes seem to be targeted even if securely stored/locked. Are they stolen to order? Shipped abroad? Stripped down for parts? How can so many get taken without ever being found?

He deserves it too. Perhaps they are all going back to Veruka land when Brexit is done, and need extra "housing" over there because there are no free ones handed out.
