YAY - my home town, Warrington, have just won the Rugby League Challenge Cup at Wembley. Well done Warrington !

Thoroughly deserved. Saints were awful, and considering how they've played in the Super League, it's even more puzzling.

This is the first final in six years that I haven't been to.

Yes, Saints had loads of errors today. Warrington whupped 'em !!

I've still got to watch it on catchup but knowing the result doesn't really bother me. I'm just hoping to catch sight of my 14yo grandson, who was a flag bearer for St Helens today.

I don't think that Saints losing will bother him too much though. He's not actually a fan of the team. He was only there because the Sheffield-based team he plays for won a competition, giving them the right to provide the flag bearers. I can't help thinking that, while it was great for young Logan to be there, it was a bit tough on the young supporters of the two teams who could otherwise have stepped out onto the Wembley turf today.

Seems like stupidly or lack of thought by the powers that be Chico,some of the young supporters would have been over the moon to have parcipitated
