On posts the user names show in either green or a more common black what does this mean??

My name shows green, and at first I thought it was it aid me in viewing my posts, but then noticed other greenies too, and they are not people I am familiar with either?????

your name remains green for 2 weeks ... after that time it will turn black, and you will get post reporting priveliges!

no not looking at anyone but sometime when a new users comes on site there are certain people who can be very rude and dismissive as if they do not want anyone to get involved in their little group
