As you obviously enjoy hearing a symphony orchestra at their very best, Bobbisox1, please give this a try. It's the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, together with the Danish National Concert Choir, giving one of the most stunning performances I've ever come across.

My mother was 'in service' in a Harley Street surgeon's house when she was young. During my childhood she insisted on doing everything as it had been done "in the big house".

That meant that she wasted vast amounts of time ironing socks, underpants, vests, handkerchiefs, sheets, towels, tea towels and loads of other things that I'd never even consider ironing - but only after they'd all been 'aired' of course!

I don’t, Tony.........but I do have a little gun type gadget that fires a tiny tag that would do the job!

There are things I don’t iron, Chris..... socks are a must......softens and shapes them. My mother in law ironed tights.....now that is bonkers!
