What a waste. A plastic ball to house a plastic bag. How ridiculous
Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead and London City airport I've always obtained a 'free' plastic bag for liquids just before the scanner.

Suggest your airport is a rip off merchant ☺☺☺

However, introduction of the new scanners will be phased in gradually. Some airports may be slower than others.

Mental?
I'm getting there 3 Ts :0)
About time too - it is totally farcical.

I can remember a few years back going on a summer holiday, me, my wife, our 6 year old at the time and our year old, and having to open a sealed carton of baby milk and take a swig from it - presumably to prove it wasn't hiding a bomb. Absolutely bonkers.
You might as well take your plastic bag with you as you will still need it on the way home (depending where you are coming from)

I normally do 237 But I forgot then
I`m saying that when the 3D scanners are introduced and you no longer need a liquids bag, you will still need them on the way back into the UK as outstations will not necessarily have the appropriate scanners.

Arh right, thanks for that
