The last vinyl album i bought was most likely Queen's 'Innuendo' in '91. Think i bought mainly cassettes after that, then CDs. I still have all my old vinyl albums - about 80 in total.
Jethro Tull, Broadsword And The Beast, unless you count a replacement copy of Thick as A Brick by the same band.
That is a real tricky one since I've being buying CD's since 88' and completed my Queen/Pink floyd collection on vinyl, I know its not what you asked but do believe it was 'Tigers Broke free' Pink Floyd 45' gatefold Mint condition that I picked up at a record fair.
Can't remember, funny that as I remember buying my first vinyl single in the early 60s
A Hard Days Night LP by the Beatles way back in the early 60s
Been so long I've no idea. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a Queen album though. I switched to CDs as soon as they came out. Vinyl has some advantages but sound quality and robustness won out.
dr hook greatest hits LP ,I love all the songs on it x

Thanks folks. I don't remember the last one I bought either! OG, I'm no expert but I've heard it said that sound reproduction is much better on vinyl than it is on CD. Can anyone confirm that?
The Best of Glenn Miller
Songs From The Woods.
Haven't bought vinyl for a long time.
Probably have approx 300 "old fashioned cd's" stored somewhere.
Depends on your point of view. Digital has an inevitable error in that no matter how many data bits you use it's still rounding the sound to the best it can achieve. But analogue recording is hardly perfect anyway, so tints the sound in it's own way. I never used to notice digital being off, I suspect some fooled themselves that they heard or failed to hear something.

Depends on the equipment, the condition of the vinyl and the acoustics of the room.
Saying that, a computor with good speakers plays awesome music
Earth wind And Fire
Shaft sound track

( might have been the other way round )
The quality is definitely better on vinyl, Clarion.
It's not the medium. Digital recording can be as good as anything IF the sampling rate is high enough.

The trouble is, a high definition digital file would be huge. You wouldn't get many on a CD.
Urban Hymns by The Verve. Late 90's I guess.
