.... Got my annual check up at The Valve Clinic at Guys Hospital in that there London.
Best part of 2 hrs each way on a train to London Bridge Station then about a 5 - 10 minute walk to the clinic. Mrs B. wants to come with me, if she does that 5 - 10 min walk will become 30 so I
am going to try and persuade her the train journey would not be good for her, or my blood pressure ;o)

Maybe Mrs B wants to show her support because of what you’ve done for her lately. As it’s mostly sitting maybe you could accommodate her so that she feels valuable to you, it might not be how you want the day to go but it might mean the world to her.
