Is Signing Up With A Property Tax Reduction Firm Really Worth It?

I came across a few property tax reduction firms and i would like to know if my taxes would really be reduced, if so by what percentage and how much would it cost?

There was a spate of similar companies around in the late 1990s which claimed to reduce a business's council tax in return for a fixed fee (payable up front, of course). I don't remember the details but for whatever reason, many such businesses didn't see a reduction but still paid the fee. There may be bona fide property tax reduction companies around now, but I would suggest that you proceed with caution and maybe only agree to any fee if it is payable AFTER the said reduction has been achieved.
