Wow that does look good, a tad more dangerous than at the Quarry we used to lake about in Blue and Green lagoons as they were known and avoiding the 'quicksand', obviously very poisonous on refection.

Moi? But I became a reformed character in my teens and left home for good. Marching the 150yds up the road to join the Metropolitan Police College. :-) It was a huge wrench.

Laying coal fires, cooking and cleaning from about eight years old, helping to care for greatgrandmothers. Very little money for latest toys so mostly drawing and writing stories. I did have clackers and could keep them going an entire breaktime. And scoo bidoo, apart from that birdwatching and wildlife were my love and it has been a love my whole life.

I remember hula hoops being popular, we had stilts and a pogo stick. Another popular game was cats cradle.

Making a shop with the empty bean & pea cans, empty omo and lux boxes, oxo tins. ha ha, you had to be a bit carful with them sharp tins. :0)

Making igloos in the thick snow and a fish shop where we’d wrap solid blocks of ice in newspaper haha

Oh and actually eating a bag of chips from newspaper with the black print going all over your hands
