It’S A Mince And Leek Dumpling Day Here Today

Pouring with rain,heating on , bathed a dirty pooch after her run in the woods earlier, blew dry her very curly coat and now she’s happily lying on her towel and cushion with a hot water bottle under it ,spoilt Cockapoo:0)
Mince , onion and carrots doing nicely in the oven, dumplings made from scratch , just the spuds to peel.
What are you having for tea tonight ?

reheated chicken, roasted beetroot, cauli and those green cauli things, green beans and sprouts and my own chicken gravy...some rasps and homemade meringues to follow. A bottle of red to be uncorked shortly but there's a stiff Friday G&T (US style) sitting here to mellow me.
