Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Stuck on a couple this week. 14a Note on a legendary bird or reptile abbreviated. Not really sure how many letters. also 11d Great Uncle upset nag missed speech (7) letters. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks Dazzo

4d Rene's very brief intrusion. I put trespassing but can't be right as I need an R for croc. Thanks again Dazzo

ah see where I've gone wrong. Lost the plot with 13a Rash head leaving school. and 16a Rita's ordered out of bed. Do they accept tipex.?!!!. maybe I'll just leave it this week.!! thanks all of you Dazzo

Dazzo, I have on occasion used tip-Ex.SAs far as I know it is acceptable.

dazzo I use a grid on 15 x 11 graph paper with the squares approx a quarter of an inch.
Once solved, transfer to original grid. Saves crossing out and you will save on Tippex.
