Just had a call from Kate to say they will be home about midnight so one of us on vac-cleaning and two on washing up, putting away duties, we have been slobs this weekend but it will all be fine when they get home, hopefully, if not it is going to be a late night :-(

Ha, I know the feeling, Tashi. Lil' Trouble has run me ragged today and I've found his dad's underpants and socks strewn all over the bedroom floor several times today.

Additionally I've broken a lot of glass today, including the jug from the coffee machine and one of my favourite wine glasses. I've had the vacuum out many times today to vacuum up food thrown by Trouble (he threw more than he ate today), tiny glass shards and endless polystyrene beads (which obviously passed for "insulation" in the minds of the previous cowboy builders).

Don't get me started on the backlog of laundry, cooking or endless tea making for Bob The Builder and his dad.

I've earnt my G&T tonight...
