top gear super cars.

a while back top gear did up and striped down an old car. an then raced it against 'pretty much every supercar on the plannet' i can't remeber what these cars were, can people help.

All I can remember is the car they stripped down. An old Jaguar XJS. Something still beat it, so they fitted a nitrous oxide injection system and it beat all the cars it was put up against.

Ok, i have dug deep into my memory and i think i can just remember... The Jag was up against the Ferrari 355, a Porsche 911(cant remember if it was Turbo or normally aspirated version), a Honda NSX, a Chevrolet Corvette and a Aston Martin(i think it was the DB7).

I am sorry i could not be of more help, it was a long time ago and i have had a few beers since.

I agree with manics, although I have a feeling that the Porsche may have been the "stripped down" GT2 with the twin turbo. Not 100% sure though.
