After watching a documentary on Tomas Cook last night, It appears to be the same old story. The fat cats bank their millions, while up to ten thousand employees in the UK are left struggling, and on the breadline.

One fat cat was reported to have claimed 80 thousand pound in expenses last year, along with a permanent hotel room in central London, along with millions in salary.
The program showed greed and incompetence at the top.
They say that there is a on going investigation into the company, so my question is,what is an investigation going to achieve? ( as they already seem to know what's gone wrong) and what good is going to come from it for the ex- employees.

I hate greed and lies with a passion TC,they ( the fat cats ) should be taken to court and forced to pay back their ill gotten gains along with the MPs who’ve claimed innocuous expenses,only then will the judicatory in this country of ours will get some respect back, the money could go to help the genuine homeless but we all know ,this will never happen

Yes Bobbs so do I, and it makes it worse to see them get away with it. We see visual crime on the streets every day. But I tend to think there's a lot worse, and harmful crime going on behind closed doors that's not ever going to be addressed. In this case, its a crime against thousands of people, and the suffering will largely go un-noticed.
It’s a great pity that they ( like Shamima Begams) family can5 get legal aid to fight for what is rightfully theirs TC
//can’t//
Nothing will be done TC. The likes of such people look out for each other. We don't come into their greedy, selfish, equations.
The "fat cats" should be the ones to compensate their ex-employees. The only way to be surer in future that managers will consider those working for them.

@13.27 I wouldn't think theres much chance of that ever happening. To have a salary in the million bracket, and still want more is just down right greedy, and their so smug to sit there watching people lose their homes, plus some families end up broken families due to the financial pressure.
Makes you sick , doesn't it - especially when they knew the company was in difficulty - feed in the trough before it fails

(' Little' miss bazile work for the airline bit , before she jumped ship and joined Virgin , luckily .)

Trouble is if they have not done anything that's against the law - they will always get away with lining their pockets
