What specification do you want? You have screen size, DVD, Wi-Fi, RAM, Graphics Card, Warranty, extra battery, processor speed, etc., many things to take into consideration. What will you be using it for?
Dell have laptops from �441 but it comes down to the spec you want! When I bought my laptop I wanted all the latest stuff on it and I paid �1,100 for it. You get what you pay for. You can use smaller companies but you run the risk of being a customer to a company like Tiny/Time which has just gone into receivership.

Might aswell post my question while I'm here too...
I'd like to use my NTL broadband connection to surf la t'internet wirelessly on laptop.. Could someone have a quick scan on Amazon or wherever and tell me what I need? Router etc.. Also I'd like to be on USB if possible instead of ethernet..
