It all kicked off with my neighbours last night and now there's blood on the communal floor of the entrance hall. How long is reasonable to give them to clean it up before I go and ask them to do it?
I'd say that it's reasonable for you to expect them to do it as soon as possible - are they likely do do it if you ask them to? Either that or get a big old mop and bucket and do it yourself.
I take it that, if the police have been involved and evidence etc needed to be taken, then this has been done??
It would have been nice if they could have cleaned up ASAP, but I'm guessing by your problem that they aren't that 'nice'. I'd say it's well overdue for cleaning up by now, and unreasonable that htye should have left it for this long. Erggh.
If they are the type of people to 'kick off' and cause this mess in the first place, I'd be slightly worried about asking them to clean it up in case they started on me!
get your building supervisor to ask them to clean it up, it isn't your job to do that if it is a community area, for health and safety reasons the supervidor should get it done immediately
Glad I'm not the only one that would have expected it to be done immediately.... It still hasn't been done, which I think is well out of order. Torn between taking a bucket of bleach downstairs and just leavin it for as long as it takes them to do it...
They've put holes in the wall too, so I am a little bit reluctant to go and knock on their door :/
Unfortunately the landlord is dodgy as fkuk - which is why I end up with neighbours like this! The thing is, fair enough, they've had an argument and it's got quite bad, but it's not even that that I'm bothered about even tho it was noisy etc - it's just like, clean it up and we can all forget about it., you know? How they can leave the blood on the floor I don't know, I mean they have to walk over it every day too! :(
