How clear do the signs need to be? "CAUTION: do not lean out of window when train is moving" - not clear enough it seems.

It's such a shame that the young lady lost her life... but I can't deny I was going to post the ones clip as well.
Not so much "great minds..." Arky, but "Twisted senses of humour think alike".
Yeah I know its wrong... but the Young ones clip is so funny.

ZM: so ""CAUTION: do not lean out of window when train is moving" - isn't clear enough? what do you suggest?
I seriously can't see how anyone can say a sign telling people not to lean out of the window when the train is moving is inadequate. What can that possibly mean? Errr.... don't lean out of the window when the train is moving? Oh yes. That must be it.
//The presence of trees which hadn’t been inspected / cut back for 10 years and an inadequate sign falls far short of those responsibilities.//

The chap on the Gatwick Express struck a bridge parapet, Zacs. The object struck is not really the issue. As I think you mentioned earlier, there are all sorts of hazards lineside over which the train operators have no control.
//Yeah I know its wrong... but the Young ones clip is so funny.//

"Over here you ***!"

I think Bambi is my favourite episode of TYO.
What? So a word gets censored, even if I write the initial followed by stars?

That's not overkill or anything.
I'm unsure from the link given my sight issues but is the new signage larger and more prominently placed than the old one?

On the glass may have been even better, yes - I know it should be common sense not to lean out.
ps

I can see the wording has changed.
‘there are all sorts of hazards lineside over which the train operators have no control‘

Erm....apart from making trains which don’t have opening windows. Mmm?
