It’s neither a wink nor a black eye..... it’s Anne’s latest piercing......you should see the others!!!
Hi gness! How's it going? What time is it over there? :-) x
-- answer removed --
I’m in Ireland, Pixie....... we don’t bother with time.. :-)
Hi gness how are you? I was asking about you the other day and someone said something/ someone had upset you? Anyway, I'm glad you're back xx
Hi, Barsel.... someone is imagining things then. (Nothing new there!)
I’ve not been upset at all.
Saddened at the way AB is going though so I don’t look in very often now and don’t post much..... can’t resist pulling Asquith’s leg though..... ;-)
Some of the things you've said on here and the banter with Tonyav used to really make me laugh. I have missed all that you know. Take care.xx
Tonyav is a star.... easy to have banter with.... he’s a lovely chap......
Take care you too.... x
I'm not sure if there is a difference but Baldric was part of the Royal Marines, not he marines.
Spath, there is a big difference between being in the army and being in the marines: The army guys walk to work whereas the marine guys take a boat.
Interesting,,
It’s the ROYAl MARINES by Royal Charter. Not the marines. They are not soldiers but part of our Royal Navy.
I thought Royal Marines were the only British force to have that title ie the commandos who wear green berets and basic train at Lympstone. Marines alone is the US term for their similar Marine Corps (also part of their Navy).
I think the US marines are a separate fighting force. Apparently the Navy Department is in charge of both of them, but the marines aren't part of the navy.
Maybe Baldric can enlighten us he would love to i'm sure.
