Morning all, dry and chilly out there - did the second day in a row 5 mile sprint with Kim Can Mow around the back - hard work it was too. Then Falmouth.....today, qui peut dire, as the middle sister is in the county....why they want to stay in Newquay is beyond me, Falmouth with the Mater down there, perhaps.... As long as I can put a shift in on this tome of mine - the end is coming into sight, finish this chapter on 'technology and dementia' and 3 to go.

I shall, as always salute at a monument to the Glorious Gloucesters. who fought back to back at Alexandria in 1802 and again at the Imjin river during the korean war, six hundred Gloucesters were taken prisoner to allow the rest of the allied armies to escape being overrun by the million or so Chinese troops facing them.

Hello I've made it! We've had terrible storms here in Ibiza and a tornado which Killed 3 workmen in a hut
Hubby painting bedroom white as it was, dare I say it, purple
But it's taking several coats
So glad the long hot summer is over. How are you all??

Oh and joy of Joys. We now have an iceland and waitrose store in San Antonio. It's a bit of a drive but its lovely having English bread etc again!

to go, a chapter on humourous comments that have come out....then one on carer tips as to respite and the rest, inc my story of the Cornish rocket launch and the lessons accrued from that about staying fit, then the transfer of The Mater to the home she is in. She's given me a sign off line to the book - I call her VP of Mayhem, my sis is VP of Admin and I'm VP of Operations... Two weeks ago, as I was leaving I said to her, 'Now Mum, VP of Mayhem, behave yourself'

She looked up at me and said, 'If I can.....'

around 220 pages is my target, Boaty, that will translate to 250-60 when on the computer screen and eventually when we take it into paper next year...launch will be at the end of next month on-line.
