It's just turned 5 and I've closed the curtains and put the lights on. It was sunny this morning but it seems like it's been raining most of the day. Wanted to pop out earlier for a walk but the rain and my current mood have kept me indoors.

I know a lot of ABers hate weather and 'whats for dinner' updates on here so apologies in advance ;o)))

Anyhoooo........whats it like where you are? I'm in South London.

Yes Wolf, came back from dads on Wednesday :o)
My brother has just gone back to Nottingham with his three. I think his wife must be an angel for putting up with him as he is just a big kid himself.
Quite black here and weather to be expected for this time of year. Nothing unusual to report in London/Surrey border.
It has been the most beautiful cloudless autumn day here in Spain. Spent a wonderful day in a "White Village" at their Chestnut Festival, tonight going out to a BBQ restaurant with 16 members of our family. Happy Days !
Y viva Espana. :-)

4c and breezy in Escocia.
Bucks, has just been rainy, dark and windy for the last couple of days.
Well waterboatd people just turned up, 6 hours later, to check blocked drain! Apparently there's s few around the village. Never had this happen as bad as this before. Hopefully a beyter day tomorrow.
East Riding of Yorkshire. Been horrible all day until about 5p.m., when the clouds cleared and a lovely pink sunset ensued so I could take small dog out without his raincoat on. I had to put this on this morning and he doesn't like it, but it saves a lot of wet dog drying and pongs.

This morning I got soaked during the dog walk - and then I had to find a chemist because Mr. J2s leg wound was going a bit nasty and I needed new dressings. This evening I stayed dry but almost froze - suddenly viciously cold here.
^^^ Very happy ducks here - pond has overflowed and become a lake instead of the village green.
Same weather here in our village, the local springs and gullies are overflowing into roads creating massive puddles.
Same around here with roads too, Tony.
It's piddled it down ALL day in South cambs. The yard is a lake. Altho it does drain quite quickly. At least the wind has dropped. It brought a tree down last night and blocked the lane.
Patsy33 got tailgated by HGV today with headlights flashing, I believe I was travelling at appropriate speed for conditions, just stayed at a sensible speed for road conditions.
Does make driving difficult at times
I hate it when HGVs do that. It's bullying. I slow down right down when they do that, bloody fools.
Yes HGV driver could see a lot further ahead than I could and wasn't worried about the puddles (small lakes on road), perhaps he had a timed delivery to make?
Barmaid, not recommended but a quick jab on brake peddle without slowing down, normally gives you some distance.
