Good Morning Early Birds!

Friday. It's raining. I hope it stops, I'm taking snowflake to see friends in Yate today.
I had an excellent nights sleep for a change, woke up almost pain free! Wonderful.
After my trip to the hearing clinic at Stroud Hospital yesterday I've now got two new state of the art hearing aids, adjust one and it adjusts the other one as well. I was seen by a lovely young lady who gave me a full hearing test, she looked like she should still be in school, but she knew her stuff. I'm happy. I really can't fault our wonderful NHS.

Didn't get lunch (a large sausage roll) until 2,30 and then the neighbours turned up at 5.45 and were here until gone 8 so dinner (just that soup described yesterday with toast/grilled goats cheese)was nearer to 8.45.

A good mate is a one that’s always there in good and bad times ,expects nothing back but loyalty , I’m lucky I have one such friend, I have many more but this one is very special

got Leek and Tattie soup..and bread on ! winter is upon us !!!

I' going to do a big pot of potato soup over the weekend, must get some streaky bacon and chives.

slow cooker down..sausage casserole for dinner..love it with buttery mash... add apples, mushrooms and plenty of onions...yum yum
