Nor will I be bothering to buy the Telegraph on Mondays in future! The crossword is the only reason I buy it on a Monday as it is not particular interesting for anything else!

I remember some years ago the Radio Times printed the wrong grid. I managed to work it out anyway, and sent in the completed crossword, only for the editor to declare the competitiion invalid a week later. I suppose that ****-ups like this make it too much of an elitist intelligence test rather than a lottery, and we can't have that, can we?!
I certainly am disgusted this has happened yet again, will check in future before I buy and would it not be a good idea to send completed crossword addressed to The Editor and if people can solve it without shaded squares should still be given credit we should all ask for our money back for todays paper as was incomplete and should not have been on sale.
