In Emmerdale last night, Laurel made a quick exit from the café saying she had to get to work. Since she worked in the chocolate factory which no longer exists, have the writers of the scripts forgotten that they destroyed the factor?!!!!

Maybe it was the first excuse she could think of to get away.

If it's like Coronation Street people she probably got offered a new job the same day (and never discuss wages, hours etc before starting)- maybe that happened off camera
