Is there anywhere I can get a free computer for a pensioner or for someone registered disabled?

It's a long shot but I know that IBM do a scheme whereby they fix old or broken down computers and give them away to the needy.

As far as I know this is a US based scheme. So, if you're in the US call IBM and get a number for their recycling depot in Pennsylvania, and they should give you more information.

However, if you're in the UK you are best advised to call IBM's UK headquaters and they should direct you on where to go next.
