A lot of 'shop' type ads do use real employees. They have to volunteer and go through auditions, they're not just picked at random.

Obviously i can't say what PC world do.

He's definitely an actor, because he's appeared in several adverts



He's here from 17 seconds onward. I've got a vague recollection of him (Bit part) acting in something like Jonathan Creek or Doctor Who, but I've been through the cast lists for both and can't see anyone resembling him - although there are lots of actors with only one appearance who don't have a head shot on IMDB.

It's not Roman Kemp, mally. He is the a Radio DJ and appears alongside the Currys PC World "Employee" that Tuvok wants to know the name of.
