I was trying to find out why Blackpool postcodes began with an F. I googled a question and, finally, found this map and a review of the tourist attraction.

Blackpool postcodes begin with F cos it’s on the Fylde coast.

My first holiday away from home was to Blackpool. It was a good laugh.

Forest of Bowland is gorgeous. We'd a great week near there this year at a village called Wigglesworth. I've discovered that a direct ancestor of mine (same name as my dad, it's been passed down generation to generation) died there in 1710. He lived at a place called Moxborough/Moxburgh, which I can't trace as yet. Leave murderous intentions behind and visit it! :)
