Pixie - remember Lucinda Prior-Palmer, the Olympic equestrian rider and became Lucinda Green. At her father's funeral in the Wallops, she had her horse, Major George, attend the service - in the church.....

Nay it wasn't possible but it was.....he attended her wedding too.
//People still talk about and wonder who the stunning lady in black was....//

Scottish Widow I would hazard a guess !
I have heard of her- good for her :-) xx
What a great character! That's the sort of things one of my Uncles' would do. Glad he had his last wish to make everyone laugh.
When my father was in his coffin on the bier I was allowed to bring our pet Labrador into the church. My dad was a Dog trainer and Police Dog handler. His life from a young lad revolved around dogs. On cue my youngest son released Oscar who did a circuit of the bier having a good sniff and then my son recalled him to the pew. I was just glad that Oscar didn't decide to cock a leg whilst paying his respects. :-)
I had to give the Limo driver a good tip. Did that Labbie moult?
Still think it's not funny and language awful !
