I spoke to a Scottish neighbour today and asked him about Independence and Sturgeon and he said whenever he visits all the people he knows give them both a resounding NO or should I say NAY
No would be naw .
Is the clear message they're going to send on indyref2 that they are going to continue flogging a dead horse, and find themselves headline news at news sites that should know better, because of it ?
Ms. Sturgeon joins Mr Corbyn and Ms. Swinson in that elite band of politicians who are unable to separate their febrile imaginations and the fantasies they create, with the real world in which they are supposed to live, but clearly do not.
Those beacons of hope and truth, Johnson and Farage deserve a place on that list of massive intellects.
The usual high respect for Scots and all things Scottish is always much in evidence on AB, especially now as it is blatantly obvious that opinion north of the border is somewhere near (officially/polls) evenly divided and thus a referendum held now would very possibly produce independence.
Ah, Douglas (at 13.24), if only the usual suspects could see the truth that the Bible often reveals... and I say that as a devout atheist!
Here, for example, "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"
It's ben a looooong time since I was last at Sunday school but I seem to remember that not coveting thy neighbour's wife, especially her ass, was a thing.

I may of course have got things mixed up a bit.

Our PM may want to reacquaint himself with scripture.
Your Sunday school taught you about ladies' bottoms, Douglas?! Mine didn't!
