where did you meet ur other half??? i met my wife on the internet. on a chatroom 5 years on wednesday. met her 16 days later asked her 2 marry me 12 hrs later she moved 2 england 2 live with me 2 months later. got pregnant 1 month later. had son 9 months later 1 month later moved to dublin ireland 4 years later still her. i still fancy her just like i did the first time i met her.

The first week I started my new job, we met at my office. He didn't work on site, but he just happend to be in this particular week. We clicked straight away and he confided in me that he didn't love his then girlfriend. I told him that he should be kind and let her go. He did 2 months later and then I found out he liked me all along via a mutal friend from work. I however, was also seeing someone and tried to do the decent thing. My relationship ran into all sorts of problems but I kept trying to make it work, whilst all along he waited for me. When I eventually woke up and smelled the coffee, 5 months later, thankfully he was still there for me. We have been together for the last 7 months and I have never been happier.

i met my man online too. and he is the most kind considerate and gorgeous man ive ever met. but he lives miles away!! boo hoo. but its worth the wait!! we cant see each other every weekend but the ones we do are great!!

In Warehouse - a nightclub in Exeter, we were both ****** and the smell of B.O and vomitt in there was overpowering. We both told each slight variations of the truth to sound clever and going up in the world. I was so drunk I forgot my mobile number so I had too give him my mums number - how embarassing, I was at uni in exeter and my mum lived in wales but he called her and got my number, and that was that.

At university: I had just lost loads of work on one of my assignments (simulacrim and simulacra or some such nonesense) due to a massive outage and net lag lag lag; I stood up and began threatening to throw the machine out the window when he popped up and asked if I needed some help (he was on a software engineering course) and was wearing the obligatory clothing. He hacked my machine, found my work and saved it and took me out for a drink which he paid for!

After a few months of drinking and him doing all my dtp'ing for me and introducing me to the world's best mud game ever TCZ (which he helped write and used to be an elder on!), we got engaged and celebrate our 10th anniversary this year with out 5th child's 2nd birthday....

ahhh, those were the days. thank you mnko; you've bought back so many lovely memories for me tonight.

I met my hubby on kind of a blind date.

His uncle and grandad used to drink in the pub that I was working in and they were always telling me that he was perfet for me, but I was too shy to just meet him! - so they arranged for him to come in on my day off and my friend called me to come in coz (apparently) someone else had phone in sick!! Obviously, when I got there there this was all revealed, and everyone else bu��ered off so we got to know each other!!

That was 11yrs ago - we met in January and were engaged by the summer!!.....

I worked as a barmaid in a real country pub, and was always getting chatted up by one of the locals, Mr P. He started to bring his mate in to 'get his opinion.' Mr P's mate used to get tired and emotional as the evenings wore on, so I used to give him a lift home. 3 years later, we're married (just) and have just bought our first place together! (Mr P is now both our mates, still single too!)

To add a bit more, Mr Kilala proposed to me in a walk in wardrobe, on one knee. He hurt aforementioned knee and his new fiancee had to help him up. Just the way every little girl imagines!

At a Bowling Alley!! Mutual Friend introduced us!! I liked him and he liked me, but we both thought the obvious thing to do would be not to tell each other we liked each other and wait 6 Years!!!! We got there in the End though and are now engaged and looking for a Place to live together!!

i met my h2b while i was with my now ex, we were in a pub and i saw a mates boyfriend i knew so me and my ex stood with this guy and my h2b, no introductions or anything,, i couldnt find my lighter h2b pulled one out and lit me up, i said thankyou and thought he was a nice guy,,, when i broke up with my ex mentioned to blokes girlfriend her boyfriends mate was a nice lad and the rest is history. were getting married in november and have a 2yr old together.

Went on an illegal trip to Dublin and met her in a bar.
Seeing each other for 2 years, proposed last week on ceremonial parade in front of 200 Royal Irish squaddies/officers.

In a nightclub 10 and 1/2 years ago today. I was with my sister for moral support as her boyfriend who she moved to Wales for had just dumped her after nearly three years together. She didnt actually want me there with her but no one else would go with her. I was only 16, he was my sisters ex's best mate! Nearly didnt happen though he said I was far too young him being 26 at the time, I was only a month off turning 17, so long story short we now have three beautiful boys aged 6, 3 and 20-months, A morgage and I moved to Wales to be with him 8 years ago. Still no ring on my finger though.........................!
