Walk In Showers

I'm looking to buy a walk in shower and have an idea of what I want from looking at brochures. Unfortunately no prices were given. Can anyone give me an idea of what prices to expect for shower, fittings and installation etc also any recommendations. Thanks.

Under Plumbers in my local press, they advertise installing heating, boilers etc, not installing a shower and I also need the walls and floor tiling to be made good afterwards. I don't want to get someone else in to do that. So should it be a Builder I'm looking for?
Excuse me please cracker nut for putting this on your thread but it might help you as well.

Excuse me as well Cracker. This is to Lady birder, but should apply to you as well.
LB, you need one person only to oversee this project. Don't try to engage all the different trades yourself unless you've had experience of doing so.
A local small building company , or even a good one-man-band.
One local builder will have a list of contacts, people he's used before.
He'll have tame plumbers, electricians, tilers, carpenters etc etc.
They'll refer to him during the work. You don't want to get involved in possible problems directly.
A decent trader will bridge between you and the various trades needed. They'll talk the same language.
...and, you won't be stitched up if you choose your guy carefully.
Local recommendations as always :o)

Thank you TB, I was hoping you would reply. I know such a guy and he's absolutely brilliant, expensive, but you get a beautiful job. Trouble is, because he's so good, he's booked up for the next 18 months and I don't think I can manage until then. So I'll peruse checkatrade's pages and see what I can find. Thank you again.
