ive got the sims 2 and i tried to make a restaurant but i cant make a ktichen part because all i can put in there is a barbecque does anyone now how to put a fridge or a cooker in because im sure that restaurant kitchens dont have just barbeques in them???

you can't til you get the Open For Business expansion pack

Dot is right. Plus even if you did manage to get a kitchen installed you still wouldn't have the staff to man the restaurant! The expansion packs are the secret. Just as in The Sims 1.
