Today Is Also The Day!

Had a phone call from the hospital to say they have a cancellation.
OH can have his Cochlea Ear Implant on 20th December. His premed is this Thursday. So we have saved a 3/4 month wait.
They are providing a hotel room the night before the op which is great.
They have said he will have to stay in hospital overnight so I will add on another night in the hotel.
Hopefully he will be fit to drive home from Bristol the next day. I haven't the nerve to drive from there. I only drive locally now.
He is so upbeat about getting it done so much sooner.

Not for a while jno. It will not be switched on for a month to allow it to heal.
Then he has to get used to hearing in a totally different way.
Told it could take three months or so.
So I can still shout at him!
