I Seem To Have Accumulated Several Pretty Biscuit Tins

It seems a shame to throw them away. Does anyone know of an organisation that might be able to make use of them?

Nursing homes. My nans home used to have things like that in the corridor with bits and bobs in them. Dementia sufferers often like rummaging through things. They'd fill them with wool, postcards, things like that.

They're handy for keeping home made cakes in. Other than that, perhaps give to charity shop. I've noticed lots of pretty empty tins in them.

You could make a novelty clock out of one of them. Here is the general idea:
I would go a little further and put stick-on numerals or just plain dots to make a dial.

Come on, Naomi, you can do it. The only "difficult" task is drilling the hole. The quartz movement will come with hands, and you can buy the stick-on bits from the same store...YOU CAN DO IT, yea...Go for it.

Your local primary school might appreciate them. Good for storing coloured pencils and wax crayons.

Take them, a couple at a time to your local charity shop. Only last week one of my friends was telling me she managed to pick up a cadburys chocolate fingers tin, she was really thrilled with it.
I have also seen pretty tins being sold at boot sales in the summer, they sold as soon as she got them out of the car.
