Polling Day Etiquette/laws

I was not aware of one or two of these. And a few are quite bizarre - for example you are not allowed to photograph your voting paper, but you can photograph your postal vote. And if you sign your ballot paper legibly then it is invalid and will not be counted. Whew !

may be invalid - I thought the invalid papers - possiby invalid - were all collected and they had to agree whether a valid vote could be discerned.
like 'Frack off ' opposite the labour candidate - and they discussed rationally whether that was a vote for ( valid ) or an anti-vote against ( invalid ) entry
like the general election in peaky blinders was invalid in that the candidates were at the polling stations wearing their stuff and there are rules against canvassing near a station. no it didnt get accepted in IMDB trivia....
neither did the unlikelihood of a telephone kiosk in a lettuce field

A few elections ago there were people at the door to the polling station wearing Tory rosettes. They had clipboards and were asking people how they had voted. I didn’t tell them because I’m on the opposite end of the political spectrum to them and they ran the local shop so I knew them quite well.
Is it legal to wear a party rosette and ask how people voted?
