Folder Thumbnail Viewer
7 Answers
i'm looking for some software that allows me to see a thumbnail of ALL files in windows explorer - I have a lot of recovered/raw files with no names, and many that are corrupted, that i need to sort through, but its taking forever as i have to open them all.
i'd like to be able to see whether the document or pic etc is corrupted while its in the folder so i can just delete them.
I'm having trouble viewing documents and PDFs
i installed acrobat and now i cant see the PDF thumnails!
so is there some software that just works on showing thumbnails for everything?
thanks :)

i can open them all, and the ones that are corrupted just open with a corrupted icon, so i have to remember the weird jibberish name its been given, then close it so i can delete it, and the ones that arent corrupted, i have to also memorise the weird jibberish name its been given, close it, then find it in the list again, and rename it - then when i rename it, it jumps to where it belongs in alphabetical order so i have to scroll again to find the ones i was renaming - and it just makes it take longer than it needs to be and is annoying.
there are thousands of documents i need to wade through, so seeing the thumbnails means i dont have to open anything - i can see which are corrupt and which are fine and can rename, just by right clicking and clicking 'rename' from windows explorer

quite by accident ive managed to find a way to view any word type documents - by using the word doc converter wizard in libre office.
it changes all .doc files to .odt file (open document text)
which means they can be opened in any kind of office type software - and then in windows explorer it shows a tiny little icon sized image of the document - so i can batch delete blank ones or ones just containing gibberish, and if i can make out what it is just rename it.
