Because i got a new router and new password my Canon printer no longer
works. It took me two days and several conversations with Canon engineers
to get it to work. Looks like unless someone can help me on here
i may have to do the same, but has anyone any quick method of making
the laptop and printer compatible. I am no techie by the way.........

Yo first need to connect the printer to the router. Most modern routers and Canon printers are equiped with the automatic "connection" ability WPS. Firstly press the WPS button on the router and then, within 30 seconds press the WPS button on the printer. Wait until the router has all the lights back on and the printer should be connected. The wifik button should be on the top of the printer, and the WPS button onthe front of the router.
