Despite what other ABers say ,and I respect their opinions, I believe allowing red wine to breath enhances the flavour greatly.
I had a Sunday Roast in my local village pub b4 Christmas. After eating the starters I decided on a house red to go with my Beef meal. I don’t know what the red was apart fro being a house wine served in a wide mouthed glass similar to a brandy goblet. It was fantastic. A good substitute for port with cheese and biscuits. I am in Burton as I write. Might bumble down the local to find what wine I had later and have another or two in a large mouthed goblet.
