best deals for euros??

Has anyone researched best deals on euros? i need to get quite a few as several of us are going on holiday together. Also my son is going to cyprus - are they still cypriot pounds or euros?

The only thing to watch out for is the charges which your bank might make for doing this. Many people open a Nationwide FlexAccount specifically to use for their holiday money because Nationwide don't charge for withdrawals. (Some Abbey accounts also seem to be charge-free).
If you're determined to use Bureaux de Change facilities, then Marks & Spencer are usually best (but they don't have very many branches with exchange facilities). Otherwise, the Post Office probably offer the best rates.
